Dear Senators,

Thus far I only have about 10 responses for these sessions. The first one is penciled in for Monday Nov 11th between 4 and 5:30 P.M., with two respondents preferring this slot....unless I get a few more for this one, I'm going to ask those folks to move to a different session.

The Senate has 53 senators this year, so 43 of you haven't responded yet. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are interested in attending one of the sessions below and which one so I can confirm them with the President and Provost.

Reminder, these are not like formal senate meetings and are meant to serve more of a socializing, "breaking the ice" kind of function.

Dear Senators,

Each year we hold a reception with President Schill, Provost Phillips, and various members of the upper Administration to allow folks to mingle and socialize together outside of our more formal Senate meetings. It is a chance for folks to get to know each other a little better, and for senators to make contact with those the Senate collaborates with most frequently.

This year, due to the pandemic we are unable to hold this large group event and have come up with an alternative. President Schill and Provost Phillips will be splitting up the sessions and have each set aside time for small group interactions with 6 - 8 people over Zoom.

Please take a look at the below dates/times and send me an RSVP for your first choice session via email by 5 P.M. on Friday, November 6, 2020. These sessions will be first come, first serve. If there are sessions where only one or two sign up, I will ask you to move to a different time. Each session will be scheduled for approximately 30 - 45 minutes.
