[Uosenate] Fwd: Faculty Representative on Concur Service Advisory Board

Good evening, Senators,

Business Affairs is looking for a new faculty representative on the Concur Service Advisory Board. The board meets quarterly to help the AVP of Business Affairs configure, manager, and enhance Concur. It sounds like they’ll be discussing revisions to their travel policy in the upcoming meeting.

Please let me know if you or a constituent you know would like to serve. On the one hand, this strikes me as the kind of service work that might safely be put on hold until after the pandemic (we are supposed to cut back on "non-essential service” this year). But, on the other hand, I know that travel policies and Concur are things that some people feel strongly about, so I wanted to give you the opportunity to engage if you’d like.

I’d also like to thank Senator Zvoch for his service on the Board this past year.

He was an engaged faculty representative and board member and notified us today that his term is up.

Laurie and I would love to have a faculty representative succeed Keith, if possible in time for our next meeting August 17th, during which we will be gathering feedback on a proposed travel policy revision.
