[Uopatos] Invitation to participate in session with students in Puertas Abiertas Program

Here is a wonderful opportunity to connect with students over the summer:


Dear Colleagues,

For the fourth year in a row, I will be hosting students who participate in the Puertas Abiertas Program on the LCC campus. They will be here on July 18. Last year many of you joined the students for an opportunity to share your stories with the students.  The opportunity was extremely well-received on both sides; and I would like to provide the same opportunity again.

  I am inviting you to be part of an informal session, which would allow students to meet you and learn about your journey to where you are now and, hopefully, receive inspiration and tips for success.  It would be great if you have information that you could share about what you do on the campus. If you are involved in a academic department, it would be great to also share some information about what you can do with a major in  your area.   I have had an opportunity to speak to some colleagues individually, but would like to have a wide representation of professionals for the students to meet.

The session time I have planned is from 11 to 12 p.m. on the 18th of July.
