Below is a call to volunteers which can be shared.
Thank you very much for your support.

Volunteer for Fiesta Cultural

Lane Arts Council is seeking volunteers for Fiesta Cultural, a county-wide initiative celebrating Latinx arts, culture and heritage. Fiesta Cultural creates opportunities for inclusion through the arts, highlights Latinx artists, and connects the community with Latinx culture through welcoming cultural programs and events.

Fiesta Cultural kicks off on September 7th in downtown Eugene and continues with community events happening from September through December. Events include music, performance, arts exhibits, workshops, and other cultural programming produced by or integrating Latinx artists or Latinx culture.

More information: http://lanearts.org/fiesta-cultural/

We are seeking volunteers interested in:
· Supporting direct outreach to Latinx community members (visiting Latinx businesses and organizations; promoting Fiesta Cultural at community events and gatherings, delivering information and representing Fiesta Cultural out in the community).
· Coordinating social media content about Fiesta Cultural and Fiesta Cultural events
· Helping during the kick-off event (handing out guides and information, setup and breakdown, representing Fiesta Cultural and Lane Arts Council)

Dear Latinx Strategies Group,

Lane Arts Council is excited to announce the fourth year of Fiesta Cultural, a county-wide initiative celebrating Latinx arts, culture and heritage. The festival kicks off on September 7th in downtown Eugene (in partnership with the City of Eugene) and continues with community events happening throughout Lane County from September through December.

We would love to talk with your group around how we can better connect the UO campus community with Fiesta Cultural. Also, would there be an opportunity to come present about Fiesta Cultural at your next meeting?

Lastly, I am going to send a second email with information about volunteer opportunities for Fiesta Cultural.

We appreciate your support spreading the word and engaging the campus community.

Best Regards,
