Dear UODSP List Members,

Thank you for your support!  The Save the Disability Studies Minor webpage was taken down by UO administrators in response to the outpouring of support by friends of the DS Minor.  The good news is we got their attention and they want to talk to the DSM Board of Directors.  Currently, focus is on upcoming talks.  When the website returns, I’ll let you know.

Dear UODSP List Members, This post ranks among the top most important ever.  We can make a difference in saving the Disability Studies Minor.  Act now!  Betsy’s message below tells how.

Thank you Betsy for your unwavering commitment to the DS Minor and work to save it!!!

As a person with a disability and one of many faculty who helped to bring the DS Minor into existence, I can say with conviction that the UO is a far better place for having the DS Minor. I can’t imagine the UO without it and will continue to fight for it.  Heidi

The information about pressuring the administration to save the DS Minor is up and running on the minor website! The link is below. It links to a manifesto and from there to forms where people can submit their contact information to stay involved and tell the administration their stories about what UO disability studies means to them. The banner on the homepage also links to these documents.
