As you may be aware, Teach Access is a non-profit organization that collaborates with education, industry, and disability advocacy organizations to address the critical need to enhance students’ understanding of digital accessibility as they learn to design, develop, and build new technologies with accessibility in mind. As a Teach Access partner, Microsoft helps bring accessibility expertise to help close the accessibility knowledge gap that exists globally. This open-source course curriculum repository provides the content and curriculum necessary to assist faculty in providing students with the accessibility skills they need to enter the workforce with knowledge of disability and accessibility. Content includes course syllabi, slide decks, assignment prompts, discussion questions, and quizzes across a variety of disciplines including Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Web Design & Development, User Experience (UX) Design and more. I’m excited about the future of this work and hope you will share with your university partners.
