Hello,
I am a Regional Director for a non-profit and I am helping my area representative, Megan Myrmo, in trying to locate a new host family either in Eugene or Portland for a LGBTQ student, Frederikke, from Denmark. Would you be willing to host or share this with your friends and families?  This sweet girl needs a host family right away as she is arriving to the US in August. She had 2 different host families, and they canceled due to some things coming up in their life.
She speaks good English, will have the appropriate visa, medical insurance, and her own spending money to cover personal expenses.  She will attend high school closest to her host family, so she can take school transportation.

A host family simply puts another plate on the table and welcomes her as one of their own!  I would love to get her into a supportive family and community, and I believe Eugene is a great option for her! It is important to note that she need not be in a LGBTQ family, but just someone who is supportive of her. Host families can be single, married with or without children, same sex couples or empty nesters.

Female: "My name is Frederikke I'm 15 and currently in 9th grade. I like reading, being with my friends and family, listening to music, rainy days and mountains. After high school I would like to do something in the medical field or something where I help people. American traditions and language have always interested me, and I'm looking forward to spending an exciting year in the US with you".
