Subject: Yale Disability Journal Seeking Student Submissions

Greetings,

The Yale Review of Disability Experience (YRDE) is an undergraduate-led journal publishing academic articles, opinion pieces, short- and long -form essays, and non-print multimedia submissions of merit that rigorously analyze, insightfully reflect, or creatively capture the many dimensions of disability studies, life, and experience. We are seeking submissions by March 22nd for our inaugural print issue. Our website can be found here<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/yrde.yale.edu/__;!!C5qS4YX3!RZpZC4buxajX3b-qpy8ooWc6Mtg_lOLGnRwyZIgKd8ffH2l1MFbA_6tdIItVFNM$> or at yrde.yale.edu<https://urldefense.com/v3/__http:/www.yrde.yale.edu__;!!C5qS4YX3!RZpZC4buxajX3b-qpy8ooWc6Mtg_lOLGnRwyZIgKd8ffH2l1MFbA_6tdN4QrWS0$>.

Our advisors include scholars, wirters, legal experters, and authors. Members of our Board of Advisors are affiliated with such institutions as UCLA, UC Berkeley, Duke, Syracuse University and the University of Toledo.

Submitting to YRDE is a wonderful opportunity to be published in an open-source, expert-reviewed journal and to contribute to disability thought and expression. Our expert peer reviewers range from doctoral students to assistant professors and provide double-blind feedback.

We are looking for academic pieces that do not exceed 30 pages double-spaced. Poetry, Short stories, visual works (e.g., illustration, painting, multimedia, digital/graphic design, etc.), video/film works (e.g., short films, experimental video art, animation, mini-documentaries) all constitute creative submissions. For a detailed overview of our submission guidelines please visit our submission webpage.
