You’re most welcome. I anticipate your friend will enjoy connecting with NWABA. I know some of the folks and they’re wonderful.
From one RP person to another, congratulations to her on purchasing a tandem cycle. The couple times I tandemed, it was a blast.
Be well—Heidi

Thanks for posting this, Heidi.
I forwarded it on to a friend of mine with RP who just bought a tandem bike.
I hope you are doing OK these days.
Best, Julee

Hi Heidi,
I hope that you are well, given our current health challenges. I remember that you are an avid tandem biker and that you were involved in Eye Cycle, so I was wondering if you were aware that the Northwest Assn. of Blind Athletes is holding local activities in the Southern Willamette Valley and that heir plans are also to open their first satellite office in Eugene? I am probably not telling you anything that you are unaware of, since you usually have your fingers on the pulse of everything that is going on, but I just figured with your interest in tandem biking and with the large variety of activities that they have to offer that you might enjoy.
With Corona all NWABA activities have been on hold in recent months, but they are making good use of this hiatus planning and scheduling future events.
The NWABA has very strong programs, as I said, with a wide variety of activities and a great ratio of very good volunteers. Their hiring pocess is obviously a good one. I am impressed with their staff as well. I'm sure that after this interruption in their programs that they will come back stronger than ever, given this opportunity for self evaluation. I thought that I would reach out to you for possibly your own interest as well as those in your wide network.
I hope that at some point we possibly see you at one of the NWABA's activities and we hope that you remain safe, Ken Rivernider
