Hello colleagues and friends,

Yesterday, the UO President Schill  made an announcement that  the university takes  actions to minimize in-person and social interactions in response to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus COVID-19. In support of such actions and to protect public health, we have decided to cancel the reception and public review of the "Enabling Exploration." My students worked really hard and they will be disappointed about this decision. However, we all understand that student's safety and public health are the first priority at this difficult time  and I hope you understand it.

However, the gallery doors will be open as scheduled until this Sunday. I hope you have a chance to take a look at the show. It is amazing!!!!

Hello colleagues and friends,

I would like to invite you to a student exhibition showcasing  student outcomes in Ceramics and Furniture Design studios that I teach with Prof. Brian Gillis at University of Oregon. Through art making and exhibition design, students worked collaboratively to create an art exhibition that provokes inclusive and accessible aesthetic experiences for all audiences. All of our student have been working hard and very excited to show their work. I hope you and your friends can make it. Following is the exhibition schedule and information. Location : LaVerne Krause Gallery, Lawrence Hall, College of Design, University of Oregon

Schedule:

Public preview: Friday, 3/13/2020, 9am-2pm.

Reception: Friday, 3/13/2020 @ 2pm.

Public/final review: Friday, 3/13/2020, 2:30pm - 6pm.

Public view: Saturday, 3/14/2020 - Sunday, 3/15/2020:  10am -4pm
