I'm writing to share information about a new class I am offering this coming Fall term.

This class is steeped in the DanceAbility Method developed by choreographer and Artistic Director of DanceAbility International and is open to anyone interested in learning about inclusive practices in movement improvisation. This is a movement-based class, so we will be dancing, ideal for anyone who might want to incorporate these strategies in your own work or for your own personal health.

The class is offered T/TH 10-11:20 am in Gerlinger Annex studio 350. Students may earn one credit toward their Disability Studies minor. Please email Shannon Mockli, smockli at uoregon.edu<mailto:smockli at uoregon.edu> for information on registration and with any inquiries.

Hi Heidi,

Because I am new to this list serve, I am a bit sheepish to send this out myself.

I am wanting to get word out about my class I am offering in the DanceAbility Method. This class is open to all students and can offer one credit toward the Disability Studies minor. I am currently in conversation with Professor Wheeler about that and will get her a copy of the syllabus as soon as it is complete.

In the meanwhile, I'm hoping to spread the word that this class will be offered this Fall and is open to all who might be interested in utilizing inclusive dance practices in their future professional work or who are interested in a dance class for their own personal health. Anyone interested in registering or participating just needs to email me and I will arrange an individualized study contract with them.
