Doctoral Students, interested in Autism, Education, Emotional Disturbance, or Disability Identification tools:

Kim Sherman, PhD, JD and co-author Sidney Ganzler, PsyD, have a dissertation ready to go and are looking for a doctoral candidate who would lead the research to validate an autism identification tool. The tool is the Continuum of Autism Spectrum Traits (C.O.A.S.T.). It is a parent/caregiver survey tool that may be useful in the identification of children who may experience autism, and (we believe) will be more accurate than other parent-completed tools in eliminating confounds such as communication disorders or emotional disturbance.

The research study is ready to go, with IRB application, letters to parent/participants, and all materials (including envelopes and stamps).

Please contact Kim Sherman at 503-910-6172 or by email at kim.otbc at gmail.com if you are interested.
