Dr. Sibara is Assistant Professor of English at Colby College and co-editor of Disability Studies and the Environmental Humanities: Toward an Eco-Crip Theory (Nebraska 2017). His talk focuses on narratives about the survivors of the atomic bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, as well as the American medical study that was conducted of them for several decades afterward.
