MIUSA Open House
Get to Know Your (Local) Global Disability Community!
Disability rights. Empowerment. Leadership. International experiences.
Global activism.
Did you know that the organization Mobility International USA (MIUSA) is
working on these issues right here in Eugene, Oregon? In recognition of
Disability Mentoring Day, we welcome youth with disabilities to learn
about
our work and to explore opportunities for becoming global leaders and
world
travelers.
You're invited to attend our open house!
* Meet MIUSA CEO and Co-Founder Susan Sygall, a woman with a
disability
* Learn about our global projects and local opportunities to get
involved
* Find out about how people with disabilities can go abroad for
study, volunteerism, and more
* Pick up our free materials to take home
* Enjoy some light snacks and refreshments
Who should attend:
* students and youth with disabilities
* parents, educators and professionals who support people with
disabilities
* anyone interested in our work!
When and where
When: Thursday, October 26, drop by anytime between 4-5:30 pm

We're on the 3rd floor of the Miner Building (Passionflower and Pewter
Rabbit are on the ground floor), between Pearl and Oak Street.
