Dear MIUSA supporter,

I hope you are enjoying the beautiful spring weather.

We have exciting news!! Please save the date of Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art (JSMA) at the University of Oregon campus.

Come join MIUSA for a free reception of the opening of the Brilliant and Resilient: Celebrating the Power of Disabled Women Activists photo exhibit from 5:30 - 7pm. This amazing exhibit, which features disabled women activists from MIUSA's Women's Institute on leadership and disability programs has toured El Salvador, Mexico, the United States, USAID, and the World Bank. Now, it's finally made it to our very own JSMA museum! The world renowned photographers of Brian Lanker, Darcy Kiefel and Paola Gianturco will be on display as well as vignettes describing the personal experiences and stories of our WILD women activists - the discrimination they have faced and the accomplishments they have made to better the lives of disabled women.

In addition, there will be light hors d'oeuvres, a no-host bar, and a short presentation about the amazing WILD trainings that are happening in over 20 countries around the world by our WILD alumni.

The vignettes will be available in alternative formats and the reception will be ASL-interpreted.
