Lane Dance Program's
"Collaborations 2017" Show - From TONIGHT!
March 2-4, 2017 (Thursday-Friday-Saturday)
7:30p.m.
Location: Ragozzino Hall, LCC South Eugene Campus

DanceAbility International will present the stage premiere of "Whisper," choreographed by Jana Meszaros. It features Kelcie Laube, who has cerebral palsy, and Maria Antonieta Alvarez, who is from Mexico. Critics are calling it "delightful" and "beautiful." This short piece will be one of several dance pieces by various choreographers in the concert. See press release at the bottom of this email for ticket and other details. If you have not been to an LCC dance concert, you are missing out on a local treasure!

Winter Session is almost over, for these classes for people with and without disabilities; Spring Session dates to be announced very soon.
General schedule:
EUGENE Adults: Thursday's, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.
EUGENE Youth: Thursday's, 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.
COTTAGE GROVE Combo Adults/Teens:
   Monday's, 5:15 - 6:15 p.m.
SPRINGFIELD Youth: Monday's, 3:45 - 4:30 p.m.

LCC Show Details

"Collaborations 2017 dance concert runs March 2-4, 2017 at LCC"

Eugene, Ore. – The Lane Community College Dance program is excited to present the work of Lane Dance Faculty, Alumni, and local guest artists in Collaborations 2017, March 2-4th at 7:30pm in the Ragozzino Performance Hall, LCC main campus.
Emerging choreographers and Lane Alumni Hannah Downs, Mariah Melson, and Jackie Thelen will be returning to Lane as professionals to present their work.
Eugene Youth Ballet will perform a new dance choreographed by Sarah Ebert. DanceAbility International, which celebrates dance as a vehicle for connection and inclusion, will also be performing.
Lane dance faculty Bonnie Simoa and Sarah Nemecek will present original work with the Lane Dance Company. In addition, Sarah Nemecek’s “Field of View,” a 2015 collaboration with videographer Ian Coronado and composer Melissa Stark will be performed in Collaborations 2017. Later this month, the piece will represent the Lane Dance Program at the American College Dance Association Conference’s adjudicated concert at the University of Oregon during spring break.
