Thanks to a generous contribution from NBCUniversal<http://aapd.us13.list-manage.com/track/click?u=08dab5cd58ad9250c3f56519f&id=642eff269d&e=faf404ee5e>, the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) is proud offer eight (8) NBCUniversal Tony Coelho Media Scholarships<http://aapd.us13.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=08dab5cd58ad9250c3f56519f&id=1be457849d&e=faf404ee5e> in 2016.

The NBCUniversal Tony Coelho Media Scholarship is available to 2nd year associate students; undergraduate sophomores, juniors, and seniors; and graduate students with disabilities with an interest in the entertainment, media, or communications industries. Each recipient will receive $5,625 to help cover the cost of education at their college or university.

This scholarship has been named in honor of Tony Coelho, a former United States Representative from California and the primary author and sponsor of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
