Betsy,

Is this commitment about teaching a seminar course that is specialized in disability issues within my academic unit or teaching the Faculty Development Seminar every other year?

Best,

Kyuho

Here is an important reminder and more information about our Disability Studies Faculty Development Seminar, which will take place Tues-Friday June 14-17 of this year. The workshops, led by Mel Y. Chen of UC Berkeley and Phil Ferguson of Chapman University, will take place each morning from 9-12 on the UO campus and will focus on discussing disability studies texts and workshopping our new syllabi. You will receive a $500 stipend and $500 in faculty development funds (ASA).
NOTE: You must have a commitment from your department to teach the course at least every other year to participate in the seminar, so please approach your department about that commitment very soon.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact me.

Betsy
