The next meeting of the Disability Studies Research Interest Group will
take place on Wednesday, December 9, from 12:00–1:30 pm, in the Acker
Conference Room (Hendricks 340A).

Visitors interested in disability studies at the University of Oregon are
welcome. The shared reading for this meeting is: Niklas Altermark, “The
Ideology of Neuroscience and Intellectual Disability: Reconstituting the
‘Disordered’ Brain,”Disability & Society 29, no. 9 (October 21, 2014). At
this meeting we'll also make plans for the winter and spring, including
ideas for RIG-sponsored events.
