Wow, how can you call yourself someone involved in disability studies and
promote this without even acknowledging how heavily inspiration-porn this
email is?

"That boy gave me the chills. Must have watched it at least 4-5 times. What
an inspiration he is to all of us."

Disabled people do not exist to inspire the masses. Isn't this basic
disability studies info by now?

"We are not short of soldiers in the fight for LGBT, Marriage Equality and
basic Human Rights. Now we need to take a stand for those who are unable to
fend for themselves."

Comparing different marginalized groups as if it's a competition harms both
groups, and especially those of us who are both LGBT and disabled. There
has been a great disability movement for a long time now that only benefits
from more LGBT rights.
