Nearly 600,000 residents have been advised to evacuate cities across Japan as a result of strong winds and torrential rains from Typhoon Man-Yi.  Wide-spread flooding is expected.  Flight delays and cancellations may occur at major airports in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
