of education science scholars for CATIE, our IES-funded <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/catie.space/apply__;!!C5qS4YX3!F-kyjH1dCd-a3hMr_01GbGF1fZ2qOhrwLbE8C7aDtIGSPBoV7EL91rhfHLjF5kvAKO3L2Wl61TQ4uM0aGQ$" target="_blank">Comprehensive Program for
Adaptive Interventions Training in Education</a>. Each winter, CATIE Fellows complete a rigorous course in the design, funding, conduct, and analysis of novel experimental designs for optimizing adaptive interventions—including <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/d3c.isr.umich.edu/intervention-designs/adaptive-interventions/*smart__;Iw!!C5qS4YX3!F-kyjH1dCd-a3hMr_01GbGF1fZ2qOhrwLbE8C7aDtIGSPBoV7EL91rhfHLjF5kvAKO3L2Wl61TSU4IayaQ$" target="_blank">SMART

<p class="MsoNormal">CATIE aims to support fellows as they develop initial research concepts into strong proposals for submission to a federal sponsor such as IES or NIH. The program's centerpiece is a three day, in-person training in Ann Arbor <a href="https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.catie.space/presenter-profiles__;!!C5qS4YX3!F-kyjH1dCd-a3hMr_01GbGF1fZ2qOhrwLbE8C7aDtIGSPBoV7EL91rhfHLjF5kvAKO3L2Wl61TRbxFYfCA$" target="_blank">led
by experts</a> in the design of adaptive intervention studies in education settings. This cycle, the in-person training will take place February 21-23, 2024.
