Heather is in her final months of the PhD program in Prevention Science at the UO. She has 20 years of teaching experience that includes in-person and online—synchronous and asynchronous— instruction in community college and university

Everyday Application. After receiving her BS in Nutrition and Food Science from Utah State University, Heather worked as a community health specialist for the Utah Department of Health and then as a behavioral health research assistant for the University of
Vermont. She has been a registered dietician nutritionist since 1996.
