        <b>Position Description:</b></p>
      <blockquote>
        <p>This GE will work directly with the investigators and senior
          research team of the Paths 2 the Future study. Paths 2 the
          Future is a curriculum-based intervention designed to improve
          education and career outcomes for high school girls with
          disabilities. Four broad areas are addressed through the
          curriculum: (a) self-awareness and self-determination, (b)
          disability awareness, (c) gender roles, and (d) college and
          career planning. The purpose of this study is to determine the
          efficacy of the curriculum by conducting a randomized control
          trial in 26 high schools in Oregon. All participants have
          completed the intervention and the primary focus of this
          position will be on publication, presentation, and
          dissemination activities.</p>

      <p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong> </p>
      <ul>
        <li>Perform statistical analyses, primarily with quantitative
          data but also with qualitative data</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Conduct literature reviews under faculty supervision</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Participate in manuscript development activities</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Participate in the development of materials for
          dissemination to key stakeholders</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Participate in conference and presentations</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Attend research meetings</li>
      </ul>
      <p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong> </p>
      <ul>
        <li>Experience conducting descriptive and inferential
          quantitative statistical analyses</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Experience conducting literature reviews</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Demonstrated skills in written, oral, and interpersonal
          communication.</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>College of Education graduate student in good standing in
          prevention science, special education, educational
          methodology, or counseling psychology</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Adherence to the University of Oregon policy to support and
          value diversity and people with disabilities and their
          families.</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Ability to communicate and work effectively with
          participants, collaborators, and coworkers from diverse
          backgrounds</li>
      </ul>
      <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong> </p>
      <ul>
        <li>Experience working on intervention research studies</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Knowledge of or experience with special education services
          for young adults with disabilities ages 14 to 21, high-risk
          youth, or related special populations</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Demonstrated professionalism evidenced through previous
          quality interactions with COE faculty and staff.</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Completion of at least 3 graduate level courses in research
          methods or statistics</li>
      </ul>
      <ul>
        <li>Experience with pre-post regression-ANOVA or related
          approaches</li>
      </ul>
