<p class="MsoPlainText" style="margin:0in;margin-bottom:.0001pt"><span style="color:black">Dr. Khurana and I would like to encourage PREV students to attend the annual meeting of the Society for Prevention Research (SPR). SPR is one of the primary professional
societies in prevention science. Attending the meeting is a great way to learn more about your professional field, meet other
</span>graduate s<span style="color:black">tudents in the field, and network with faculty and funders. Every 3<sup>rd</sup> year, the meeting is held outside of Washington, DC and this is the year! The meeting it is in San Francisco, May 28-31. May 28<sup>th</sup>

given to students who are an author or co-author on a paper or poster at the conference, and those who do not have another source of funding. If there is more interest this year due to the meeting location, we will consider increasing the number of travel
scholarships to 15. Doctoral students presenting should also consider applying for a COE travel scholarship:
