is open to graduate students outside of the specialization. The purpose of this course is to
</span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif;color:#4472C4">enhance understanding and knowledge of Spanish-speaking Latinas/os in the U.S. Specifically this course will focus on social, historical, political, and cultural contexts
that shape and are shaped by the experiences of Latinas/os in the United States, with particular attention to strengths, assets and resilience as well as conditions of social injustice and inequity, and how such conditions influence the health and well-being
of Latina/o Spanish-speaking communities. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
