<b>2017 Interpersonal Violence Symposium: Bridging the Gap Across Disciplines.</b>

<p class="MsoPlainText">We will convene as faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students engaged in original research, creative work, and community-based projects for a day of roundtable discussions and oral presentations on
<b>Friday, April 21st from 12:00-3:00pm in the Global Scholars Hall Room 123</b>. Our intention is to inform and inspire each other’s work in research, practice, and advocacy to reduce interpersonal violence.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">You can <b>participate</b> in one or a combination of three ways:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> Share this email with faculty and students in your department; encourage them to submit their work, whatever stage it is in.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> Attend and support presenters, engage in critical conversation, and connect with other people working to reduce interpersonal violence.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"> Submit work for presentation in one of the following formats:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><b>Oral Presentation Submissions:</b> Submit a title and a 150- to 200-word abstract describing your research or project. Presenters will have roughly 5 minutes to present their research at the forum. Slides optional.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><b>Roundtable Submissions:</b> Submit a title and a 150- to 200-word abstract describing your research or project. Roundtable submissions may have 1-3 presenters and will have 1 hour to facilitate discussion in relation to their work.
Please designate one symposium participant as a contact person, who will also serve as roundtable moderator.<o:p></o:p></p>
