the effects of early adversity on the brain, developing and testing preventative interventions to improve outcomes for families, and using this research to impact policy and practices towards high-risk children and families. You can learn more about the lab

<div class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 18px;">Currently, the lab is looking for graduate students to join two project teams: FIND and KEEP. </span><span class="" style="font-size: 18px;">FIND stands for Filming Interaction to Nurture Development. FIND
is a strength based video coaching program for parents and other caregivers of high-risk children. FIND is a 10-week targeted intervention that uses video of naturally occurring child-parent interaction to encourage developmentally supportive caregiving. Videos
are analyzed and edited using a microsocial approach to highlight instances of “serve and return” interaction, positive, supportive responses to child initiated behavior. The lab is looking for students who are interested in learning to coach high-risk families
and/or to analyze and edit FIND video. More about FIND here:</span></div>

any of you interested in eventually getting your Certified Prevention Specialist credential, and may be a bit less relevant to any of you pursuing further doctoral study or research positions. In any case, this has potential to be a very good experience –
and based on match of your interest with any ongoing projects.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
