Dear Prevention Science Community,

It is my great pleasure to share with you that today Abbie Sanders successfully defended her dissertation titled, “Complicated connections: The role of risky and supportive relationships in post-incarceration outcomes for parents returning to the community”.  She was guided in this research by her committee members: Drs. Ashley Linden-Carmichael, Ryan Light, Mark Eddy, and me. After graduating, Dr. Sanders will be joining the faculty at the University of Nebraska at Kearney as an assistant professor in the Department of Criminal Justice.

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Abbie Sanders on both accomplishments!

Dr. Sanders, you did an amazing job with both your dissertation and presentation! It has been such a pleasure working with you over the years. The University of Nebraska is lucky to have you as part of their faculty.
