The Adams Community Group (ACG) is organizing a STEM Night for our students and their families on Friday, October 18, from 5-7pm at Adams Elementary School in Eugene. We are excited to explore many different areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with our community! As we plan our event, we wanted to reach out to organizations like yours to see if you would like to be included by either leading your own activity/demonstration or volunteering with us. Our STEM Night would be a great opportunity for you to meet more members of the Eugene community and to help share your enthusiasm for your discipline with kids and their families.



Adams Elementary is a Title I school, meaning at least half of our students come from families with more limited financial resources. As such, ACG aims to keep all of our events free for everyone to attend. We also strive to make our events inclusive of all people in our community and work towards expansive representation.



This event will be held primarily indoors in our school cafeteria and gym. There may be outdoor space available, though weather and daylight may limit its usefulness. All activities and demonstrations should be geared toward children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

We do have limited space and want to ensure a variety of disciplines are represented at this event, so a prompt response including the activity you would like to lead is much appreciated!
