Hi CPHS students,
See below and attached for a great opportunity to showcase your research and practice your public presentation skills in a very welcoming and friendly environment. CPHS typically has had excellent student participation, and we hope many of you will take advantage of this opportunity (which is also a good way to add a presentation item to your CV!). I encourage students to speak with your faculty advisor about possible poster or panel presentation topics/work you might be able to present. Submission deadline: April 17.

Dear Directors of Graduate Studies,



The Division of Graduate Studies officially announced to all graduate students that the 2024 Graduate Research Forum<https://graduatestudies.uoregon.edu/forum> will take place on May 10 in the Ford Alumni Center.



We’re excited to see the range of research this year and we want to make sure the graduate students you and your colleagues work with feel personally invited to attend and participate. This year, graduate students can showcase their research on a poster<https://graduatestudies.uoregon.edu/forum#poster> or as part of a panel<https://graduatestudies.uoregon.edu/forum#panel> presentation. Proposal submissions are due April 17.



The Forum provides an excellent professional development opportunity for students and offers them a chance to network and practice their presentation skills.
·                     The first part of the poster session will be judged, and the top poster presenters will receive cash awards. A catered networking hour will follow.

  *   Panel presentations will be pre-selected. Each panel will have 3 to 4 presenters, and must present for 45 minutes max. Each selected panelist will attend a presentation skills workshop and then receive $250 for presenting their scholarship at the Forum.
We truly hope to see a diverse set of submissions over the coming weeks from all disciplines on campus. We look forward to reviewing those submissions.
