See attached and below for an 8-Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Course offered and subsidized by the UO over winter term.

Please see the attached flyer for an 8-Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Course hosted through the Center for the Science and Practice of Wellbeing<https://www.wellbeingneuroscience.org/workshops> this winter term for graduate students, post-docs, and staff.



What: MBSR is an empirically supported 8-week psycho-educational group intervention that involves systematic and intensive training in mindfulness meditation as a health intervention. MBSR is about developing a new relationship to stress arising from chronic illness, psychological conditions, and everyday distress.

When: Tuesdays from 5:30-8:00 pm, January 16th - March 15th plus a daylong retreat on Saturday, Feb 24th.

Cost: $75 for UO graduate students, post-docs, and staff. Note that the cost of the course is typically $495, but has been subsidized by the Center for Translational Neuroscience and the Institute for Neuroscience.
