Join this discussion series if you're interested in sharing or learning about what healing and self-care look like in various non-Western cultures. Specifically, we will talk about the non-Eurocentric views on well-being, the body, food, social connections, and support seeking.

Through the discussions, you may initiate or deepen your holistic healing and self-care, raise critical consciousness of the impact of Eurocentric values/worldview on our health, deepen your connection to your cultural roots if you have a non-Eurocentric cultural background.

Location: Mills International Center, Erb Memorial Union (EMU) Mezzanine 102
Time: Tuesdays 4:00-5:30pm, Week 4-6, Winter 2022

About the facilitator -
Shuyan Sheng is a current intern in the University Counseling Services and is in her last year in Counseling Psychology program. She was born and raised in China and came to the US 11yrs ago as an International Student. She feels called for liberation work through holistic healing for humans and the Earth.
