We are looking for new members for Live Healthy Lane’s Steering Committee. Our committee works to improve the health of the people in our county. We are reaching out to you because we know how committed you are to serving our community and your expertise.



Live Healthy Lane (LHL) is a community-based effort to improve the health and well-being of those who live, learn, work, and play in Lane County. We are looking for people to serve on the committee who are familiar with work being done in Lane County that supports efforts in the priority areas of the Community Health Improvement Plan:

  *   Ensuring incomes are sufficient to meet basic needs
  *   Creating conditions that support mental health and physical well-being across the life-span
  *   Transforming systems & institutions to achieve racial equity

This committee will start to inform Lane County’s Community Health Assessment (CHA) and the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHP). About 15 people will be a part of the Steering Committee. This includes people with personal knowledge of health disparities in Lane County gained by direct, first-hand experiences, leaders from community organizations doing work to advance CHP priorities and staff from the organizations that make up Live Healthy Lane.
