Subject: Need undergraduate research assistants this summer & fall?

Dear Faculty and Graduate Student Colleagues:

Family and Human Services (FHS) students are required to complete a research experience with faculty or graduate students. If you need research assistants, you can advertise your position using the attached, brief forms.

(1) The first form, FHS 401 Research Experience Guidelines provides you with very brief information about the 401 Research credit requirement and a few ideas for how an undergraduate student could assist you.

(2) The second form is a Research Opportunity Announcement form that you may complete and return to me to advertise your position with all FHS students (330+ undergraduates).

**You specify what you want students to do in your lab, the time commitment, skills needed...and selecting the student(s) you want. We want to make it easy for faculty and doctoral students to connect with FHS undergraduates. Thank you for helping us with what we hope is a mutually beneficial experience!

If you have questions, please contact me.

Thank you,

Krista

Remember, when interacting with faculty, staff, and offices around campus you are never required to reveal your status.
