Hello PrevSci PhD students:

We just received information from the Dean’s Office about doctoral travel awards for 2021. As many conference are virtual this year, the Dean is electing to give out more awards of smaller amounts. Students will be allowed to ask for up to $100 towards conference attendance virtual or in-person. Awards will be given on a first come first served basis. If a tie-breaker is necessary, some preference will be given to students who may be presenting.

If you are attending a conference this year (virtual or other) that includes costs, more information about the doctoral travel awards is available here: https://coe.uoregon.edu/scholarships/college-of-education-travel-awards/

Thanks,
Leslie

The University of Oregon is located on Kalapuya Ilihi, the traditional indigenous homeland of the Kalapuya people. Today, descendants are citizens of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon and the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians of Oregon, and they continue to make important contributions in their communities, at UO, and across the land we now refer to as Oregon.
