The Stress Neurobiology and Prevention Research Lab in the Center for Translational Neuroscience is looking for a student research assistant with graduate level statistics and research methods experience to join their team. The research assistant will assist Dr. Tyson Barker and the research team in creating a web-based measures repository of early childhood and parent measures. Responsibilities of the research assistant may include the following: search and input measure related data (including information on measure cost, usability, technical merit, and cultural and linguistic relevance), assist with data management, assist with web-development, and other duties as needed. Applicants must have completed at least one graduate level statistics course and one research design/methods course. Additional coursework in advanced statistical methods is desired, but not required. Experience with Excel, R, SAS, SPSS, or Stata is preferred but not required. Depending on student preference, the position can be paid hourly or taken for research credit.
