*FREE Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Train the Trainer (T4T)*

The Suicide Prevention Coalition of Lane County (SPCLC) is excited to
announce an opportunity for all Lane County residents.  On January 14th
we will be hosting a FREE Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) Train the
Trainer (T4T) event.  QPR is an evidence-based suicide prevention
training appropriate for all people interested in supporting their
fellow community members.  QPR teaches people how to identify a person
experiencing a suicidal crisis, intervene compassionately and connect
them with appropriate care.

As an SPCLC endorsed trainer, you will be expected to join the SPCLC (if
you are not already a member) and provide 4-6 trainings per year in Lane
County for a minimum of two years according to the SPCLC workplan.  This
is an excellent opportunity to support the community as a whole and also
the organization that you work for or other organizations in need of
support.

the Board of Commissioners and Health & Human Services Department on
matters relating to mental health, developmental disabilities, and
addiction issues in Lane County by reviewing major policies of the
community mental health program and makes recommendations to the
