[Prevscilist] Volunteer Opportunity for Prev Sci Students

[Prevention Science Program]

Hello All,

There is a volunteer opportunity to assist in the upcoming Go-Baby-Go robotics camp at the Eugene Science Center on Saturday July 27th and Sunday July 28th. Go-Baby-Go is a program in which, in this case, local high school students modify toy ride-on-cars in a manner that young children with mobility challenges can use a joy-stick to operate them and be more mobile. Available volunteer slots are:
Saturday July 27th 10am-12pm or 12pm-2pm
Sunday July 28th 10am-12pm or 12pm-2pm​


The major role for volunteers is to help supervise participants when campers take breaks and otherwise provide enthusiasm and encouragement. Really, you will just be there as an extra pair of eyes and hands to lend support if any campers need it.
