Nathan Fox<http://www.cdl.umd.edu/> is visiting the Center for Translational Neuroscience next week to work on a grant, and while he’s here he’s agreed to give a talk, which the Psych Department is co-sponsoring. You probably already know about Nathan’s work; it spans basic developmental neuroscience, intervention, and policy. Among the most noteworthy of his work has been the Bucharest Early Intervention Project<http://www.bucharestearlyinterventionproject.org/About-Us.html>, an RCT of foster care versus orphanage care in Romania that has examined effects on brain, biology, and behavior longitudinally.
The talk is next Monday, Jan 14, at 4pm. Location and details ATTACHED. Refreshments provided.
