Message from Camille Cioffi (PREV PhD student)-

Nia Christine Nelson was born Friday, February 8th at 4:11pm. She 
weighed 5lb 8.7oz and was 17.75 inches long. Camille and Nia were 
discharged on Monday, February 11th. Despite Nia arriving as a “late 
preterm” infant, the doctors have been pleasantly surprised that she has 
a healthy blood sugar, little weight loss, and is doing a good job of 
breastfeeding. Mom and dad are taking lots of time to relax and snuggle 
skin-to-skin!
