Greetings colleagues!
I am hiring a part-time Faculty Research Assistant to join our vibrant Roots of Resilience research team at Oregon State University-Cascades in Bend, OR. The current posting is for .50 FTE, with benefits, with the goal of increasing FTE for additional projects, and/or during the next academic year, if appropriate and/or desired by the candidate and research team.
I’d be most appreciative if you could share this with anyone who you think might be a good fit!
The Roots of Resilience research team (PI: Shannon Lipscomb) is conducting research on school readiness among young children and professional development of early childhood teachers. Specifically, this is a project supported by the US Department of Education Institute for Education Sciences (IES) to develop and pilot test an innovative online learning and coaching program to help early childhood teachers promote resilience and school readiness for children impacted by trauma.
Primary roles for the Faculty Research Assistant include conducting quantitative and qualitative research, disseminating findings, collaborating in the delivery and revision of the Roots of Resilience program, and supervising/mentoring student research assistants.
