Subject: grad-dir: Between the World & Me book club in Grad School - Nov 28

Hi DGSs & Grad Coordinators,

The Graduate School's first book club on "Between the World and Me" -
the book all incoming undergrads got a copy of this fall and that many
instructors are incorporating into their classes - was a success! Please
invite your grad students to the second meeting (they definitely do not
need to have been at the first one!), which will occur Nov 28, Monday
after T'giving (they can read the book over the holiday!) from 4-5 pm in
the Graduate Student Center in Susan Campbell Hall. This time, special
guests will be Julie Heffernan and Daniel HoSang. And, apparently there
is still ONE more free copy of the book available in the Grad School, to
someone who will commit to coming to the book club on the 28th.
