UO Sick Leave Policy - Payroll Procedures


*         For employees that are newly eligible for sick leave, there is no reporting to be done during January Time Entry.

*         For all employees, they will not have any sick leave to use until they accrue it based on hours entered in January payroll.

*         For hourly employees, they will report sick leave used on February payroll.

*         For GTFs, they will report sick leave used in January during February payroll.

*         For all other salaried employees, they will report sick leave used in February during March payroll.

There will be a PayNews Meeting near the beginning of February to discuss the process for these newly eligible employees.
