The Business Affairs Office has posted an opening for Director of Payroll Services.

UNIVERSITY OF OREGON-BUSINESS AFFAIRS OFFICE
DIRECTOR, PAYROLL SERVICES
The Director of Payroll Services manages the overall operation of the Business Affairs Office (BAO) Payroll division, the institution's central payroll-processing group.  The Director supervises and coordinates the work activities of this high volume processing unit, and directs payroll personnel in accomplishing departmental objectives by applying rules, policies, and procedures pertaining to payroll functions.  Requires bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field plus 3 years of relevant experience; OR bachelor's degree in an unrelated field plus 4 years relevant experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience; ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds in a collaborative setting; two (2) years of management experience including employee supervision and budget authority.  Must have extensive knowledge of multi-state, federal, and international wage and hour laws and regulations, including interpretations; demonstrated attention to detail, strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and time management ability.
