MRIConvert/mcverter version 2.0.7 is now available for the Linux and OS
X platforms. The Windows version will be ready after the New Year. The
source code is also available, so a properly configured Windows machine
can produce version 2.0.7 in advance of the binary release. Details for
such a build are contained in the included file README-SRC.txt.

This release addresses some recently-discovered bugs, fixing crash
behavior when faced with Siemens ASL DICOM files and eliminating a
spurious warning message about duplicate volumes.

With this version also comes elimination of dependence upon wxWidgets
and Boost shared libraries. All necessary code from these libraries is
built into the binaries (e.g. statically linked), so no separate
installation of wxWidgets and Boost is needed. Any stock installation of
Linux, OS X or Windows should provide all the needed dependencies.
