As you know, we’ve been in a freeze state with our current system since July 20th to allow for the migration of as much information from eAPM into Huron as possible. Our testing identified issues requiring additional work to mitigate and those efforts are ongoing. To provide the best experience possible for our community, we have decided to postpone the launch for a period of time in order to thoroughly address these concerns and perform extensive testing. We will let you know as soon as possible a revised go live date – likely in October. In the meantime, continue to send any requests for protocol amendments to the IACUC office and we will process them in the manual system.

I am happy to say that we should soon have positive news about a new director for Animal Welfare Services. The HR process is still in play so we are not at liberty to say more. Suffice it to say, I am very happy that the position will be filled as we launch the new system.

I would also like to comment on the re-formatting of your currently approved procedures.
