2025 Winter Semi-Annual Facility Inspection

[Inst Animal Care and Use Committee]

Hello everyone,

Happy new year! We are reaching out with the schedule for our Semi-Annual Facility Inspections, as indicated below.

Monday 1/27: 8AM-10AM AqACS Facility
                             12PM-2PM Aquatic lab spaces

Tuesday 1/28: 8AM-12PM TeACS Facility

Thursday 1/30: 9AM-11AM ZIRC Facility
                               12-2PM Terrestrial lab spaces

Aquatic labs: We are planning to begin in Pacific at 12PM and work back to Huestis, based on the schedule attached.
Terrestrial & Avian labs: We are planning to begin at 12PM based on order of entry based on the attached schedule.

General reminders:


  1.  Check for expired items
  2.  Label primary and secondary containers
  3.  Check and flush eyewash stations
  4.  Make sure all documentation is complete (surgical records, DEA records, health records, training records, etc.)
