IACUC Announcements 04-2023

Hi everyone,
I hope you all are doing well and had a great weekend. I have a few announcements I wanted to go over.


  *   RAP downtime: RAP will be down beginning Thursday 4-20-2023 at 6PM for the COI component addition. RAP will be down overnight and will be up again by 10AM on Friday at the latest.



  *   Triennial reviews: The date sent with your Triennial Review reminders is the last day of approval for your protocol. This means that the day after that date, your protocol will have expired. Please be sure to submit documents for Triennial Reviews at least 30 days before the date on the reminders. This provides enough time to complete the process before the deadline.



  *   Personnel: Please be reminded that all personnel must be added to an IACUC protocol prior to beginning any animal work. Users working with animals without approval will result in a reportable event to federal agencies. If you have questions about how to do this on RAP, please contact the office.



  *   Animal Occupational Health Questionnaire: EHS will begin sending out notices to users who are overdue for animal exposure clearance renewal on May 1st. Please work with EHS to complete this requirement; users who remain noncompliant will have access removed until this is corrected. This is a requirement that ensures your safety when working with animals.
