I’m looking for a writing workbook/curriculum with explicit instruction for my 5th grade daughter.  Specifically, I’m looking for direct instruction on writing a topic sentence, summary and conclusion.  I took my daughter’s schooling into my own hands after not knowing the parts of speech etc... it’s a hit or miss with her writing- she can write creatively but not reports.  I’m a conversationalist and do best with talking so anyone willing to chat would help as well..
